Built 4 Speed Event 2017 ***update January 19th -we are moving to the Canmore Nordic Centre for the event
Development Event focus hosted by XC Bragg Creek (XCBC). Registration categories are at the discretion of club coaches. The intent is to provide a race experience for kids getting started with cross country skiing and racing. It is open to all CCC clubs. Cross Country Alberta is a proud supporter of the B4S - Southern Alberta series.

Open to both novice and experienced skiers alike!
Competitor must be a member of a Cross Country Canada (CCC) registered club.
Waxing: High Fluoro (HF) glide wax, powders, pucks or liquids are not permitted
Possible Cancellation: The long range forecast for Jan 21st predicted for a high of -6. We shall see what old man winter has in store!. At this stage it looks like there is plenty of snow to run the event! We will aim to have a decision made by Saturday morning at 6:30am. A notice will be made on the Club website, Twitter @XcBraggCreek . An email will also be sent to all Club officials.
Emergency Procedures: First Aiders (Ski patrol) will be present with a first aid kit. Emergency response if a skier is injured will be to use a satellite phone and/or a SPOT device (limited to no phone service in West Bragg)
