Golden Eagle Viewing Guided Hike
9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Meet the group at the Cougar Creek Parking Lot at 9:20 a.m.
Venture up Lady Mac to try and spot Golden Eagles as they migrate south. Ronna Schneberger, your guide, is a Canmore local and has been guiding for decades. One year she was lucky enough to spot dozens of eagles and a meteorite! We can't promise anything as nature is unpredictable, but we can state that time spent outside is worth it.
It's cold outside ... and sometimes warm. Dress in layers and be prepared for rain or sun (essential). Wear hiking shoes and bring a water bottle, touque, mitts and snacks.
We encourage families to hike together but this hike is not suitable for younger children. You can check out the Bird Walks with Cliff Hansen for a better fit.
Spaces are limited! Please make sure you get a confirmation email upon registration.
