This is Bicycle Nova Scotia's provincial championship road race for 2018. It also concludes Annapolis County's annual Bicycle Week .

From Kentville, Halifax:

- Drive west on Highway 101.

- Take Exit 22 at Lequille / Annapolis Royal and turn right (see below for more).

From Yarmouth:

From Bridgewater:

- Drive north on Highway 325 for 25 km.

- Turn left onto Highway 208 for 17 km.

- Turn right on Highway 8 for 63 km to Highway 101 interchange (see below for more).

From Liverpool:

- Drive north on Highway 8 for 107 km to Highway 101 interchange (see below for more).

Continuing from Highway 101 / Highway 8 interchange:

- Follow Highway 8 for 4.6 km, passing by Highway 201 and the hospital.

- Turn at first right past Highway 201 onto St. Patrick's Lane.

- Turn left onto Champlain Drive just behind the church.

- Turn at 1st right into the school parking lot.

- Overflow parking is available on the street or at the municipal building beside the church.

REGISTRATION:

Online registration only. There will be NO registration on site. A valid BNS/UCI race license must be shown at sign-in.

Youth (18 and younger): $25

Adult (19 and older): $45

One Event Membership (for non-licensed racers): $25

Two jersey numbers are required and will be placed on left. These can be picked up on race day if you haven't raced this year. Keep them as you can use them again for the remainder of the racing season.

10:15 Race meeting at the Municipal Building

The school building will remain open throughout the event, so no matter what time you finish, you will have access to bathrooms.

Everyone except youth will do a single lap. Youth categories will do a point-to-point race starting at the End of the Line Pub in Bridgetown (across the river). Youth will turn right onto Highway 201 for 20 km and continue to finish line.

Ability-based categories start on Highway 8 in front of the municipal building in Annapolis Royal. Follow Highway 8 for 1 km and turn right onto Highway 1 at the traffic lights. Annapolis Royal police will control the intersection to allow riders to make the turn safely. Continue on Highway 1 for 23 km to Bridgetown.

At Bridgetown, race groups BF/C and CF/D/U19F will turn right at Queen Street, cross the river, and turn right onto Highway 201. There will be a marshal at that intersection to alert riders of oncoming traffic. Continue on Highway 201 for 20 km until the finish line.

Race groups A and AF/B/U19M will pass through Bridgetown. Continue on Highway 1 for 22 km to Middleton, turn right onto Highway 10, cross the river, curve left then turn right onto Highway 201. Continue on Highway 201 for 44 km to the finish line. There will be neutral feed zones at Lawrencetown on both Highway 1 and 201 where local residents will hand you bananas for extra fuel.

The course will be marked with signs to indicate where to make the turns. Just be aware if you are in a race group that turns right at Bridgetown or one that passes through the community.

CEREMONY:

There will be a closing ceremony at the Municipal Building in Annapolis Royal at the conclusion of the race. There will be podium presentations, including medals for the top Nova Scotia residents in each category, as well as a few draw prizes. A light lunch of soup, sandwiches and cookies will be ready for you when you are done your race while you wait for the ceremony.
