Banook Lakers

The Banook Lakers is a well-established swim club that consists of swimmers of all ages and abilities. The team is led by two great swim coaches, with years of experience swimming competitively and coaching swim teams. In addition, we will continue to have several very capable volunteers with loads of swimming and coaching experience assisting our coaches and swimmers. Swimmers will learn and improve stroke technique, get a great workout, and have a lot of fun!

Little Lakers :

Beginning this September, Banook will also be running a program designed for younger swimmers, ages 5-7 (give or take - depending on ability), who are very comfortable in the water, but aren’t yet ready for the challenges of a swim team. Little Lakers will be play-based, with an emphasis on games and swim instruction, gradually building young swimmers to swimming 25m lengths and up. Swimmers must be comfortable in the water, and able to swim independently for short distances without a lifejacket or other swimming support.

2. Email transfer *- If you wish to send an e-transfer to pay for the registration fee please complete the registration online as usual. You will need to tick the paying by cheque box to complete the registration process. Then send and email to Stephen Pottie (General Manager) at banook@banookcanoeclub.com to advise that you are sending an e-transfer and include the password "banook" for the transfer at that time.

3. If you wish to pay by cheque, please drop off a cheque for the entire amount (including zone4 processing fee) to the office by September 30th during office hours or under the office door in an envelope marked with "Banook Swim Team" and your child's name.
