Cross Country Ski Association of Manitoba Learn to Train (Dryland) workshop

Competition Coaching Introduction - Learning to Train (CCI-LTT) Dryland
This is the third step in the NCCP cross country ski coach education program. It is the 1st workshop of 4 in the "Competition Coach" module.

This workshop provides tools and develops skills that a coach can use to: (1) create a “fun”, team-oriented environment that will motivate skiers to achieve their personal goals in sport, develop a life-long interest in the fitness and health benefits of cross-country skiing, and (2) effectively teach intermediate and then advanced technique. NCCP “trained” Community Coach status in cross-country skiing is a prerequisite.

The course fee is heavily subsidized by Coaching Manitoba in an effort to increase the population of qualified cross-country ski coaches while keeping the cost of coaching development affordable for our members.

N.B. All CCSAM clubs must have at least one "Competition Coach" overseeing their "Jackrabbits" program in order to remain compliant with the club's liability insurance policy.
