NCCP River Leader 2 certification clinic

We would like to invite anyone interested in becoming certified to lead river kayak trips to join us for a fun and informative volunteer/professional development workshop. Designed for club leaders this course is also the lead-in for anyone wanting to become a certified river kayaking instructor. The River Leader 2 course lays all the background work for how to lead trips safely on Grade II rivers.
The new NCCP program has two components to it, the training course and a live evaluation with real students. This course provides the opportunity to become trained and then evaluated and fully certifed over the 3 days of the long weekend.
And as a bonus you get to paddle some great rivers and enjoy the festivities of Alberta's biggest gathering of paddlers.
Waiver
Waivers are required for all participants over the age of 17. Please fill out and sign the following waiver:
For participants under the age of 18 an 'Acknowledgement of Risk' must be filled out and signed by the participant and their parent/guardian. Please ensure that this document is completed in advance and brought to the event if the parent/guardian is not available to sign on site.
