On June 26 to 27, 2021 Walk or run as far as you can in 6, 12 or 24 hours around the William McDonald track OR where ever you chose in Yellowknife in the freebird mode using William McDonald Track as a starting point.

This is your chance to set a personal record! Take as many breaks as you like, take a 5 hour nap. This event is a chance to see how far you can go in 24 hours. Run, walk or crawl just keep moving forward!

Start/finish times (subject to change):

• 6 hour category - June 26, 2021 - 9am Start/ 3pm Finish
• 12 hour category - June 26, 2021- 8am Start/ 8pm Finish
• 24 hour category - June 26, 2021- 7am Start/ 7am(June 27, 2021) Finish
• Virtual - Send proof you completed your event to ykmultisport@gmail.com (a medal will be sent to the mailing address you register with)

**Sorry, Virtual Race can only be completed in Canada. Do not sign up if you are planning on doing it outside of Canada.**

FAQ:

1. Track participants will be chip timed. (50 people maximum on the track)
2. Freebird participants will show the race director GPS data to support their result.
3. This event is self supported - meaning you provide your own food.
4. This is and individual event, not a team or relay event.
5. Track traffic rules will be in place with some lanes designated for running and others for walking.
6. Track direction will change every 2 hours (subject to change, but there will be change of directions)
7. Free bird participants will be permitted on the track and to use the site.
8. You are permitted to set up a tent at the William McDonald Track, but be respectful of the site.
9. No fires allowed.
10. Event will take place rain or shine.
11. Don't blame the DJ if you don't like the tunes... :-)
12. Sorry, strictly no refunds.

This is about endurance, not speed. How long can you last?!?
