Welcome to the FWOC 2021-22 TNT Program

TNTs are orienteering training events on a neighbourhood map which may be on an orienteering map, a city map or a street (pseudo O) map.

Given the continuing COVID 19 situation, TNTs will be the same as last year.

1. Fridays worked well last year and accommodate those participants and organizers who have half-days Friday. The TNT will be set up by 2pm Friday and left out until Saturday morning so that people can run it as late they choose. Bring a headlamp if you choose to run in the evening. If you like to run Saturday mornings, you can offer to help the organizer by picking up the flags for them! But please contact them first in case they have made other arrangements.
2. Participants print their own map and run the course when they choose.
3. If participants do not have a printer, we are happy to make arrangements to get a map printed for them.
4. There is a set price of $20 and a guarantee of a minimum of 10 TNTs. We hope to offer more as organizers sign up.
5. Participants have to comply with all COVID restrictions including staying home if they are sick.

This program consists of 10 weeks (or more) of orienteering in the form of trainings

1. 10 (or more) courses between November 26 and February 25. No course on Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve.
2. Only flags in the terrain (either pin flags or tape/cup reflective "flags"); no SI units.
3. TNTs are self-timed or you can use the Maprun6 app .
4. One course - intermediate level - you can choose to cut off at any point if you feel it is too long for you.
5. Weekly email providing details will be sent by Wednesday evening of the week of the event.
