The Kimberley Biathlon Club has been growing over the past years. Biathlon BC has recognized our success and has awarded our club the honour of hosting the inaugural Zone 1 Regional Biathlon Camp.

This is a great opportunity for our TA children/parents and the KNC coaches to attend a family friendly focused biathlon camp at the luxury of being right here in our own backyard!

The main goal of this camp is to provide an opportunity for our children to have exposure to biathlon. Absolutely no biathlon experience is necessary. The camp will feature a variety of activities, including biathlon shooting, running, biking and other fun training activities. We are calling this a family friendly weekend because while the children are out at the range, we are also offering a community entry level biathlon coaching course free for coaches and/or parents.

The Kootenay Regional Biathlon Camp is for anyone who has an interest to give biathlon-a-try and want to learn a little more about the sport. This is a great opportunity for the whole family and to come out and meet our KBC and Biathlon BC coaches. Hope we’ll see you there!!

Where : KNC-KBC Range and KNC Lodge, Kimberley

Times : Saturday             9:00 AM-4:00 PM

Sunday               9:00 AM-3:00 PM

Cost :

• Biathlon .......... $100.00 (includes use of biathlon rifle and ammo, insurance, and range fees)
• Coaching Course....Free for parents

(half day Saturday and Sunday mornings with an opportunity to shoot at the range.)

Why : Because biathlon is awesome!!

Day Membership Fee: $5/day

Host clubs are responsible for supplying all non-member volunteers with day memberships. Athletes are responsible for completion of day memberships in order to participate.
