Southeast Sask Nordic Youth Dryland camp

Southeast Sask Nordic Youth Dryland Camp - October 7 - 9 - Hosted by Regina and Preeceville

Goals: The goals of the camp are to provide supplemental dryland technique and endurance programming for Nordiq Canada Track Attack U12 and U14 athletes registered with their applicable local clubs in the area.

Date and time: The event programming will start the afternoon of October 7th to lunchtime October 9th. Athletes may arrive/depart as needed to accommodate the Thanksgiving weekend schedule.

Activity Location: Moose Mountain Provincial Park, Saskatchewan

Meals and Accommodation: Participants will be required to provide their own transportation, meals and lodging. Tent and trailer sites are available while there are several serviced accommodations at Kenosee Inn and the Town of Carlyle.

Fees: The training week fee will be $30 per athlete.

All food, accommodation, travel, park fees and equipment costs will be the responsibility of the participant.

Eligible Athletes:

- Athletes must be registered members of Cross Country Saskatchewan and are active with a local cross country ski club.

- Programming is applicable to U14 Athletes aged 10 to 16 as of 2022.

- Athletes older than U14 may attend however programming is suited for Learn to Train and Train to Train athlete development matrix.

- Athletes must be comfortable with sustaining 2 hours of activity time per session (2 sessions daily) and be capable of skiing a minimum 10km per session in previous season.
