Winter Session 2022 - 2023

13 weeks Saturday mornings from 9:00 to 10:30 am starting October 22, 2022 including one 3-hour class

• October 22 and 29, 2022
• November 5, 19, and 26, 2022
• Dec 3, 10 and 17, 2022
• No class on December 24 or 31
• January 7, 14, 21, and 28, 2023
• February 4, 2023
• Wrap-up party following the Birkie weekend

Dryland classes will be held at Goldbar Park; on-snow classes will be held at Strathcona Wilderness Centre and Cooking Lake-Blackfoot Recreation Area .

Long ski days with dates and locations arranged by mutual consent

Participants meet at Lower Gold Bar Pavilion 10955 50 Street, Edmonton for first class

Notes :

• You should have average to excellent fitness, have cross country skiing experience and not be a complete beginner.
• Minimum of 6 to run the course
• No refunds if the course is run, including in case of illness/COVID
• A processing fee for registration will be added at the payment stage and includes a $1.50 Zone4 Registration System fee and a 3% credit card fee. No GST will be charged.
• Lessons are NOT cancelled due to winter weather (e.g. snow, cold)
• Bring hiking poles or old classic ski poles, preferably ski walking length (about 10 cm shorter than your regular classic length) and a yoga mat.
• Please wear clothing and footwear suitable for the weather.
