2012 Swift Camp

About the Camp
Camp Fee: $300.00
Swift 2012 is a day camp and will run from 8:30am-4:30pm. Lunches will be provided, but all other meals will not. Billetting can be arranged for out of town athletes if necessary.
There will be two evening activities, a movie night and a group meal. The group meal will be included in the registration fee.
This camp is open to skiers age 13 to 17 yr old, (midget to junior). Registration is limited to 30 skiers. Your registration includes coaching, camp activities, seminars, training fees, transportation during the camp, food and camp souvenir. Refund will be made for medical reasons only. A $50.00 administration fee will be charged on all camp refunds. Cross Country Alberta reserves the right to make changes to the camp schedule as required.
The Swift Ski Summer Training Camp has been specifically designed by national level coaches and sport scientists to provide the best instruction to ski racers. The camp is open to skiers age 13 to 17 years old, (midget to junior), and registration is limited to 30 skiers.
This year’s highlights include physiological testing and interpretation with your own custom feedback portfolio; education sessions from leading researchers in sport science; roller-skiing technique sessions, LSD mtn bike ride; team building scavenger hunt, new and cool product demo and canoe polo.

Required equipment:
Running shoes, athletic clothes for summer and mountain climate conditions (i.e. Craft wear), hiking apparel, running ski poles, bike helmet, roller skis, classic and skating poles. Contact CCA if you need roller ski equipment
