2023 Alberta Development Ski Team Camp

Nordiq Alberta is pleased to confirm the camp dates for the 2023 Alberta Development Ski Team Camp - Camrose as:

• Friday, June 9, 2023 - Sunday June 11, 2023

Camp Objectives

The camp based program is designed to provide athletes training and learning opportunities in a group and team atmosphere. The camp is set in the summer with emphasis on team building and team dynamics. There will be distance workouts including ski walking training/striding at the downhill facility with the emphasis on being technically proficient.

• Endurance Training – Long Easy Distance (volume)
• Technical work to be proficient in the movement skills
• Communication / Team dynamics

Location: Camrose, AB - Augustana Campus, Ravine Complex (4901-46 Ave Camrose, Alberta, Canada T4V 2R3)

Coaches & Staff: Ivan Babikov (Provincial coach), Guest Coach, and Kyla Meyers (Program and Communications Coordinator)

Cost: $115. Cost includes accommodation and meals, not transportation. Carpooling is strongly encouraged. Camp cost must be paid with credit card via Zone 4 registration.

Registration:

Athletes must register online no later than June 6, 2023 at 11:59pm MST .

Additional camp details

• Meals (Dinner, Lunch and Breakfast) will be provided
• IPods and other electronics will not be permitted during training sessions. You must be aware of your surroundings.
