Biathlon Ontario will be hosting a virtual Officials Advanced Level workshop on Nov 20, 21, 28 and 29th, 2023 between 6:30 and 9:00pm Eastern.

Participants must attend all sessions in order to received credit for completing the workshop.

The prerequisite for the workshop are:

• Completed the Biathlon Officials - Entry Level Workshop
• Registered member of Biathlon Canada/Division (see below)

The workshop is intended for members who will be performing supervisory duties as an official under the supervision of the race organizing committee or Division.

Topics for discussion include

• In-depth understanding of competition rules for: Start/Finish, timing, range, and ski course for IBU and non-IBU racing categories
• In-depth understanding of the Canadian Hosting Policies
• Duties and Responsibility of a supervisory official, including the various Chief positions roles
• Safe Sport Training
