Welcome to Lake Superior Biathlon Spring/Summer Program

The Spring/Summer programs included within the registration portal are intended for those biathletes competing in all IBU classes, U17 categories, and U15 categories who intend on racing at the 2025 BiON Championships, and/or 2025 Biathlon Canada Nationals.

The Spring and Summer training consist of preparing biathletes for upcoming competition season and will focus on

• Precision Shooting (May, June, and July) in both standing and prone positions
• Biathlon Fundamentals with physical loading. (August).

Spring/Summer Training Schedules

• U17 and IBU Categories :  Fridays 4:00 – 5:30pm, and Sundays 2:30pm – 4:00pm.
• U15 Categories : Sunday 1:00pm – 2:30pm.

Scheduling is subject to changed depending on number of registrants. It may be necessary to move athletes in different time slots to accommodate supervision ratio.

All biathletes registering in the biathlon programs must be enrolled with one of the local ski club summer development programs.

All biathletes registering in the biathlon program must be registered and/or completed their Canadian Firearm Safety Course and be in the process of applying for the Minor's or PAL permit.

As club rifles are limited in numbers, it may become necessary to share rifles amongst the biathletes.  All registrants need to become familiar with the club’s Biathlon Rifle Fair Use policy detailed below and website.

All LSB members must be a member of Biathlon Canada and Biathlon Ontario.
