Learn the important fundamentals of cross country skiing (classic or skating technique) over three weekly 90 minute lessons .

Our ‘Learn to Ski’ series is the perfect way to get maximum enjoyment through this fun winter sport.

Students in our group lesson must be at least 15 years old. If you are looking for lessons with your children please choose our Family lesson option or consider a local Jackrabbits program for your youngsters.

What type of skier are you?

• New skier : You have never skied before or have skied very few times. Watch video
• Beginner : You cannot ski without poles for balance and are uncomfortable on gentle slopes. Watch video
• Intermediate : You are comfortable on skis, able to balance and glide for a short distance without poles, and can stay in control on moderate descents. Watch video

Cost: $65 includes trail fees

If you require rental equipment, please plan to arrive 20 minutes before your lessons so staff can assist you.

You may pre-purchase rental equipment during this registration process.

Trail passes are included in the lesson fee. Rental equipment is an added fee.

Cancellation policy: Lessons may be cancelled when the air temperature is -27°C or colder during lesson time, or due to challenging conditions such as heavy snow or high windchill. Participants will be contacted by Windsor Park at least 2 hours prior to lesson start time. Weather cancellations will be rescheduled to the end of the 3 week lesson set.

Missed lessons are not transferable. Please make every effort to attend your lessons. Missed lessons cannot be made up by joining another group.

Refund policy: Full refund with 24 hours notice before start of first lesson, 50% refund after start of first lesson. No refund after start of second lesson.
