The Camrose Ski Club (CSC) is a volunteer run organization that is one of the oldest ski clubs in Canada -- founded in 1911! Although we may have started with skiing, we also feature running and mountain biking on trails located throughout the Stoney Creek valley.
The CSC offers year-round programming for youth (ages 3-18) and adults at all skill levels to learn, find community, and excel in nordic skiing, biathlon, running and mountain biking.
Our club's mission is to promote lifelong sport participation, fun, and social interaction across all seasons.
SUMMER ONLY MEMBERSHIP!
For those who don't ski and prefer the warm(er)-weather pursuits of biking and trail running we have launched a summer membership. If you make use of the grass trail system in the Stoney Creek valley or want to participate in our running or bike programming, this is the membership for you.
The new summer membership runs from March 1 - September 30 of each year and the costs are:
- Individual - $25
- Family - $50
Already have an annual membership but want to take part in biking or running programming this summer through this form? Email skiclubcamrose@gmail.com before you start and let us know if you are an individual or a family and we will provide you with a code so you can register for summer programs of your choice.
If you are purchasing a family membership , be sure to enter info for each immediate family member.
Wait, but why purchase a club membership when the trails are all open to the public? Only a small part of our club's funding comes from the City of Camrose, everything else is supported by membership! Membership income goes toward trail maintenance, mowing grass, maintaining bridges, building fences, keeping equipment in top shape and maintaining our facilities. Being a member also gives you:
- a connection to a great community of people to walk, run or ride with
- access to our facilities (why not drop your gear in the wax room before your run or ride?)
- access to our summer programs including Learn to Run for Fun, group rides/runs, and youth mountain-bike programming, Kids of Mud!
- a clear signal that shows the City of Camrose a large number of people are getting outside and using our valley trail systems and that it deserves investment
YOUTH PROGRAMS - ARE NOW CLOSED
Due to this being our first year of offering bike programming, we have limited spots to keep our coach to athlete ratio safe and healthy.
If you are interested in coaching bike programming in the future so that we can expand our offerings, please let us know!!
You can still register for individual and family bike and run/walk memberships.
