Welcome to the Red Deer Nordic Ski Club!

We offer a fun program of training and touring that offers members a community in which to grow and share our passion; ski skills for all ages that will serve for a lifetime; and mountain tours and day trips to build memories and friendships.

We hope you and your family will join us for trips, games, skill training and fitness; and for those who wish, a chance to compete in local, provincial and national competitions. Specific details of all programs may be found at RedDeerNordic.ca .

Ski rentals - River Bend Golf Course has waxless ("skin") skis and skate skis available for rent for adults and children. Jack Rabbit, Track Attack and Youth Learn to Ski participants may rent skis and boots for the season when registering here.

Backcountry equipment rentals - the club has transceivers, shovels and probes to rent for touring and day trips that require avalanche gear.

Fees

Only those actually skiing in a program or in Club events should be registered so that we do not pay to insure those who do not participate.

Our fee structure:

Fees are affected by the amount we pay per participant to Nordiq Alberta and Nordiq Canada to be eligible for insurance coverage and youth incentives. Those fees are $22 per person regardless of age, plus $10 extra for children in Bunnyrabbit, Jackrabbit, Track Attack and Youth Learn to Ski programs to pay for mementos provided by Nordiq Alberta.

In addition to program fees, Zone4.ca charges a nominal registration fee and collects credit card fees for those choosing to pay by card; both of which are added at checkout.

We accept e-transfers at RedDeerNordicSkiClub@gmail.com and cheques which should be made out to Red Deer Nordic . If needed, families can pay via post-dated cheque in 4 instalments.

Your personal information will only be shared with the Coaches, Club Executive, Tour Leaders, Nordiq Alberta (NA) and Nordiq Canada (NC) on an as-needed basis.

All members must agree to the waiver in order to participate in mountain tours, youth programs and other Club activities.

Note: by agreeing to the waiver you are automatically extending the same protection to our ski Club, its subsidiaries, agents and executives.
