Nav for Newbs is an introductory 8 week course, run out of City View Park in Burlington, that provides participants with navigation skills used for the purpose of participating in adventure races and orienteering events. The purpose of this course is to teach, from the beginning, the skills necessary to confidently participate in DGL races and other similar navigation focused events.

Nav for Newbs progressively creates hands on opportunities to learn and practice navigation skills and will, at the end of the season, cap off the program with a weekend orienteering race - Golden Leaf Orienteering Fest!

Nav for Newbs also provides skills valuable for ARK parent volunteers and will discount the season price for any parents that have volunteered during the 2025 season.
