Biathlon Ontario will be hosting a virtual Entry Level Official Workshop on Oct 07, and Oct 9th, 2025 between 6:30 and 9:30pm Eastern.

Participants must attend both session in order to received credit for completing the workshop.

The prerequisite for the workshop are:

• Minimum 14 years of age
• Registered member of Biathlon Canada/Division (see below)

The workshop is intended for members who will be performing duties as an official under the supervision of the race organizing committee or Division.

Topics for discussion include

• Introduction of the Sport of Biathlon
• Basic understanding of competition rules for: Start/Finish, timing, range, and ski course.
• Duties and Responsibility of an official, including the official code of conduct
• Safe Sport
