2012 On Snow Training Camp

We are pleased to welcome back Lisa Patterson, CCC High Performance Coordinator (Eastern), to Manitoba for another training camp - this time on SNOW!

Location :  Windsor Park Nordic Centre & TBA

Cost : $20.00
Includes snacks &  venue trail fees. No charge for club coaches.

Eligibility :

Skiers (and their coaches) that are currently registered in the CCSAM High Performance Program and are at the Train to Train (T2T) stage of development (or beyond).

T2T athletes are those that have already learned/mastered the fundamentals of all ski techniques and are now working on improving, refining and adapting their technique especially related to performance (tempo, snap, range).

Friday Dec 14th - Coaches classroom session
6:30pm - 9:30pm
Windsor Park Nordic Centre
- Coaches only
- Coaches of athletes at the T2T stage and beyond

Saturday Dec 15th - Classic technique
9:00am - 5:00pm
Windsor Park Nordic Centre
- Skills & drills

Saturday Night pot luck dinner?

Sunday Dec 16th - Skate technique
9:00am - 5:00pm
Location TBD
- Hills & Terrain work

*Additional opportunities to work with Lisa include:
- the Thursday evening RRN race team training session at Windsor Park AND
- potentially Friday Dec 14th during the day for athletes that are able.
