U12 Training Camp

January 24-25, 2026

Saturday, January 24 ^th – Sunday, January 25 ^th

$225 (lift passes are not included or provided)

Sunshine Village Ski Resort

Camp Focus:

The pace of the weekend will be relatively advanced. An emphasis will be placed on race prep for the U12 SX Race with time spent on GS skis, and reinforcing U12 specific race tactics and skills. Multiple structured (drill courses, training environments, and technical skiing) and unstructured (all-mountain skills development skiing) environments will be used throughout the weekend

Eligibility:

SVR U12 athletes who are comfortable and confident skiing blue and black runs. Athletes must be competent at riding chairlifts by themselves and should be able to keep up with their peers at the U12 level. Athletes must be intermediate to advanced skiers. Please review the disclaimer* below.

Equipment:

SL skis are required and GS skis (if available). All-terrain skis / rock skis / free skis are recommended for All-Mountain Skills Development sessions.

*Disclaimer: For all Entry Level and U12 camps/races, we provide a specific number of coaches based on the assumption that athletes have the minimum technical ability to ski blue and black runs safely. If an athlete is unable to keep up with their peers, they may be moved to ski with a different group. If there is an issue with athlete ability or behavior, parents are required to be on standby to assist coaches on snow. In some circumstances (and at the discretion of the Head Coach), an athlete may no longer be permitted to participate further in the camp/race. In these instances, parents are required to accept that their athlete has been removed from further participation and a credit will be provided for the days the athlete will no longer be attending.
