The Bow Valley Masters Cup is a low-key, no pressure, ski-fun event that caters to who you are: dedicated to perhaps a job, a family, a spouse… maybe retired from Alberta Cup racing… maybe never done loppets or races before… but NEED some Zone 4 on the weekend to make you feel whole.

First Starter: 11:00 am

Reverse Pursuit: faster skier will start later based on seeding from Cup 1 and Cup 2. Unseeded skiers will start with fastest skier.

Late Start: Allowed.

Type: CLASSIC

Course: The course is a one-lap loop from the warming hut, along Banff trail, Grey Wolf, Bow, Cold Shoulder and returning on Banff Trail all the way to the Hut.  Please review on Masters Cup | Strava Nordic Ski Segment in Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park .

A note on Strava: Skiers must use the Strava app for timing. If you do a warm up on the course, Strava may start your segment early: start a new recording just prior to starting to avoid this. Disable the "Close to Home" privacy setting for this activity to avoid a truncated public post.

Results: Strava segment results will be collected after the race on Saturday Feb 21. Results will be emailed to all participants.

Safety: the course is open to the public. You must yield to slower skiers and other trail users. "Tracking" will be booed.

The registration is to collect your name, age and gender so that we can track your Strava timing; emergency contact information; and entry into the Masters Cup series. A small fee is collected to offset the cost of printing the course signage and permitting fees.
