Training Day: Friday, March 13 (10:30am-3pm)

Race: Saturday, March 14 - Sunday, March 15

Cost: $420 (Training Day and Race Days included. Athlete lift passes included on Saturday and Sunday)

$320 (Race only- Saturday and Sunday. Includes lift passes)

Where: Canyon Resort, Red Deer

Race Format:

Saturday: Slalom: 3x Single Run Races.

Sunday: Giant Slalom: 3x Single Run Races.

(The number of Race Runs are subject to change due to the number of race entries or track conditions).

Race Schedule:

Schedule and information will be emailed out to registrants the week leading up to the race. Please prepare for an early morning.

Awards:

Awards will be approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of the day’s race. Prizes: Medals and Ribbons for the top 10. Awards will take place in top parking lot.

Eligibility:

All U12 athletes registered with Snow Valley Racing and in good standing with Alberta Alpine.

Equipment:

GS skis, SL skis, race gear and a hard-ear helmet.

Team Dinner :

U12 athletes are invited to a Team Dinner on Friday, March 13 (5-6pm), location TBD. Parents will be billed for the dinner after the weekend. If you are planning on having your athlete attend please select the team dinner option on Zone 4 so that we know how much food to order.

*Disclaimer: For all Entry Level and U12 camps/races, we provide a specific number of coaches based on the assumption that athletes have the minimum technical ability to ski blue and black runs safely. If an athlete is unable to keep up with their peers, they may be moved to ski with a different group. If there is an issue with athlete ability or behavior, parents are required to be on standby to assist coaches on snow. In some circumstances (and at the discretion of the Head Coach), an athlete may no longer be permitted to participate further in the camp/race. In these instances, parents are required to accept that their athlete has been removed from further participation and a credit will be provided for the days the athlete will no longer be attending.
