Come join your friends and neighbours at our second annual GALIANO GALLOP TRAIL RUN featuring stunning ocean views, lush forested single track and a fun island vibe - this race has it all! All proceeds go towards building and maintaining trails on Galiano Island through the Galiano Trails Society.

*NEW* 2 KM WALK/WHEEL/WAG. A walking event for everyone to get involved! Two laps around Lions field. You can walk, wheel (strollers, wheelchairs, small children's bikes) and walk with your dog. Costume wearing participants (and dogs) strongly encouraged! Registration and entry fee (BY DONATION) at package pick up.

Sorry NO DOGS on the 6 km & 10 km trail run course. We want to keep the run course safe for everyone. Dogs are welcome to participate in the new WALK, WHEEL & WAG event this year.

Race package pick up is on Saturday, September 26th, 2026 from 10am-2pm at the Saturday Market at Lions Field and race morning from 7:30am-8:30am. We are encouraging everyone to pick their package at the Saturday market on September 26th.

Race timing chips for the 6 km & 10 km distances will be available for pick up race morning at registration between 7:30am-8:30am.

We are aiming to be a zero waste event.

• We will be a "cupless" event (no drinking cups will be available at aid stations). Please bring the collapsable cup you received at last year's race or another one from home. We aim to keep Galiano green!

Entry fee discounts will be given to Galiano Trails Society "active" members. If you are not sure if you are a GTS active member, please contact galianotrailssociety@gmail.com before completing your online registration. If you are not an active member, and you sign up for the race as one, unfortunately we will not be able to give you your official timing chip at race package pick up.

We encourage you and your family to become members to take advantage of race discounts and help Galiano Trails Society build and maintain trails on Galiano Island. Member sign up can be found on our website www.galianotrails.com .

Race T-shirts and other run merchandise will be available for purchase at upcoming Saturday markets and at the event.
