2026 XCSO Annual General Meeting & Conference

Cross Country Ski Ontario invites club leaders, coaches, officials, and community members from across the province to join us for the 2026 XCSO Annual General Meeting & Conference, taking place May 29–31, 2026 at Nipissing University in North Bay, Ontario.

This year’s gathering will bring the Ontario ski community together for a weekend of learning, collaboration, and connection. The program will feature two main streams:

Coach Conference

Sessions focused on athlete development, training environments, and supporting coaches across Ontario’s pathway. Specific topics include XCSO Uphill Roller Ski Test, and Coaching the Multi-Sport Athlete.

Pre-Conference Workshop open to all: Effectively Coaching the Multi-Sport Athlete

Club Administration & Leadership, and Officials

Practical workshops and discussions designed to support club leaders in governance, operations, and community development. Specific topics include: Growing your Membership, Review of the Future of Sport in Canada findings and how they apply to our sport, Jury Decisions Review (great for coaches too!)

The weekend will also include the XCSO Annual General Meeting, providing an opportunity for clubs to connect, share ideas, and help shape the future of cross-country skiing in Ontario.
