OMG - Gravel Grind Series:OMG = Oh My Gravel

Everytime people join us for a gravel ride in the Sussex region, there’s always a moment of “oh my” this is awesome, this is what gravel riding is all about!

We love showing people what gravel riding is all about and we consider the Sussex/Fundy region, gravel mecca!

We have a series of 5 planned rides over the next few months, from shorter intro to gravel rides with 30-50 Km routes planned, to a few bigger days in the saddle with 100Km routes planned to take us from Sussex to the Fundy coast and back, and we’ll finish the series with our always sold out Gasthof Gravel Grind which will have a short and long route followed by an amazing bavarian feast at one of our favorite places, the Gasthof Old Bavarian Restaurant.

Saturday, June 20, 2026: Summer Solstice Gravel Grind

Start/Finish at Poley, two planned routes from Poley. BYOB for summer solstice

Wednesday, July 1, 2026: Canada Day Gravel Grind

start/finish at Outdoor Elements, morning ride - we can look into canada day

festivities to see if anything could tie into this ride.

Sunday, August 9, 2026: The Gravel Gathering

start/finish at Poley, possibly early start with a 100km+ ride planned to Fundy Trail

Parkway and back to Poley patio, with a rest stop in St. Martins and some basic

signage for the route.

Sunday, September 20, 2026: Fall Favorites

start/finish at the shop, head out toward Brown’s Farm to start on gravel close to

town, apres at Sussex Ale Works.

Sunday, October 18th - Gasthof Gravel Grind

This annual event will start/finish at Gasthof Old Bavarian restaurant and will

have a separate registration to sign up.
