2026 PROVINCIAL OPEN ROLLERSKI CAMP - EDMONTON

Nordiq Alberta is proud to host the Provincial Rollerski Open Camp in Edmonton on July 18!

This provincial camp is open to skiers of all skill levels and all age categories. Whether you are a beginner wanting to improve your skills or a Master looking to refine your technique this camp is for you!

Camp Objectives:

The camp based program is designed to provide skiers at all levels training and learning opportunities in a group and team atmosphere. The camp is a roller ski camp with an emphasis on agility on roller skis, basic technique skills, speed and endurance.

Objectives:

• Team Building / Meeting skiers outside of your club
• Fun on roller skis
• Technique, agility and speed on skis
• Endurance Training – Long Easy Distance (volume)
• Strength

Location: Edmonton, AB

Accommodation: Exact location will be emailed to participants ahead of time

Nordiq Alberta Training Camp Information

Registration includes:

• Coaching for the weekend from provincial coach (Ivan Babikov) and other guest coaches
• Participation in all activities including injury prevention sessions and games

Please note camp registration fee does NOT include transportation or meals. It is highly encouraged to carpool with other families from your club, and to pack your own lunch for the meal break between 12-1pm.

The schedule on July 18 will be as follows:

• 10:00am - Roller Skiing - Classic Technique
• 12:00pm - Lunch Break
• 1:00 - 3:00pm - Roller Skiing - Skate Technique & Agility Course

A schedule, packing list, and detailed information regarding the camp will be emailed to all registrants closer to the date of the camp.

Please note camp registration fee does NOT include transportation. It is highly encouraged to carpool with other families from your club.

Rollerski Rentals

Nordiq Alberta has roller skis available for rental. These rentals only include the roller skis; it does not include poles or boots. If you are interested in renting roller skis please select the options during registration. Please note that there will be both classic and skate rollerski sessions, with all participants required to have both.

*NOTE*

Parents: We encourage parents to join the camp as well! Rather than dropping off your kids, register for the camp and have a family day together.

This camp is recommended for those 10 years of age or older based on long term athlete development. Any child under 12 years of age is required to come with an adult to the camp. If you have children under the age of 10 that would like to participate, please reach out to info@nordiqalberta.ca.
