Officials Level 2 Training Registration

This course prepares officials for a leadership role on a competition committee for club, provincial and most national level races, including the BC Cup Series, BC Winter Games and Loppets. The course covers all race formats, rules and regulations, rule interpretation, electronic timing, all aspects of the results system and volunteer management.

Prerequisites

The prerequisite for this course is the completion of the Nordiq Canada Officials Level 1 Course; and a minimum of three ‘minor’ officiating duties (or higher) in sanctioned events such as Regional Cup, Track Attack Championships, BC Cup, BC Winter Games, Canada Cup, Continental Cup, NorAms, Western Canadians, National Championships, CPL or CSL events on the national/provincial calendar, or equivalent events.

Course Schedule

Saturday, October 17, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Sunday, October 18, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

(half hour breaks for lunch)

There will also be a small pre-seminar quiz and assignment to be done before the course starts. A post-seminar quiz is required to be done at the end of the course.
