MESSAGE OF WELCOME FROM BIATHLON – NEW BRUNSWICK

Dear Biathlon Friends:

Once again it is a privilege and a pleasure to welcome you to an event in New Brunswick – the Canadian Biathlon Championships being held in Charlo, 11-16 March 2014. The legacy of the Canada Winter Games 2003, the Canadian Championships 2007 and 2011, and other major events continues and I have full trust that Les Aventuriers Ski Club and the now very well experienced volunteers will again host an outstanding event.

It will be a distinct and genuine pleasure to be the host to teams from across this great country here in the New Brunswick winter wonderland.

Please come and participate at the site of the Canada Winter Games and enjoy the unique Acadian culture and hospitality of the Charlo area.

C’est un privilège et un honneur de vous accueillir encore une foisau Nouveau-Brunswick. En effet, le Championnat canadien de Biathlon 2014 aura lieu à Charlo, du 11 au 16 mars prochain. Les infrastructures laissées en héritage par les Jeux d`Hiver du Canada 2003 et la réussite exceptionnelle des Championnats canadiens de Biathlon de 2007 et de 2011 laissent croire que l`équipe des bénévoles du Club les Aventuriers possèdent l’expertise nécessaire pour organiser, encore une fois, une excellente compétition.

Ce sera un grand plaisir de recevoir les équipes en provenance de tous les coins de ce beau pays, ici, dans le paysage hivernal féérique du Nouveau-Brunswick.

Je vous invite donc à venir participer sur ce site des Jeux d’hiver du Canada et à savourer la culture acadienne et l’hospitalité de la région de Charlo.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee and Les Aventuriers Ski Club, I wish to extend my warmest invitation to you to the Canadian Biathlon Championships in Charlo, NB, March 11-16, 2014.  Please find enclosed the information for this Championship.

Les Aventuriers Ski Club has been rewarded by a sense of accomplishment in having been able to host the Canada Winter Games 2003, the Canadian Championships 2007 and 2011, and other high level competitions. We are now very proud to have been selected, once again, as the venue for this major event and we look forward to you joining us in making this event a success.

Au nom du comité organisateur et du club Les Aventuriers, je vous invite chaleureusement à participer au Championnat canadien de biathlon qui aura lieu à Charlo, au Nouveau-Brunswick, du 11 au 16 mars 2014. Vous trouverez ci-joint les renseignements pertinents à cette compétition.

Après avoir été hôte des Jeux du Canada en 2003, du Championnat canadien en 2007 et en 2011 et de plusieurs autres compétitions de haut calibre, le club Les Aventuriers est maintenant confiant de pouvoir mener à bien de grands projets. Nous sommes très fiers d’avoir été choisis, encore une fois, comme hôte de cette compétition importante et nous avons hâte de vous recevoir afin de collaborer au succès de cet évènement.
