Thanks for registering for the Yellowknife Overlander Sports Marathon, Half-Marathon and 10 km Run!

The marathon was instituted in commemoration of the fabled run of the Greek messenger Pheidippides to relay the news of the victory at the Battle of Marathon. We do our best to honour his memory.

This year the event will be staged at the Somba Ke Civic Plaza, in the heart of Yellowknife. The full marathon is a figure 8 course that showcases all of Yellowknife, including Old Town, the Frame Lake Trail, and along Old Airport Road. There will also be a pasta dinner at the Explorer Hotel the evening before the event.
