Imagine a day filled with musical theatre, set design, instrument exploration, musical games and friends! This class is perfect for anyone wanting an introduction to performing. Beginners are welcome and there are no formal auditions.

This Spring Break, enroll the kids in Set the Stage! a Performing Arts Camp that is modeled on our popular summer program, the Kamloops Interior Summer School of Music! Kids who take part will get to explore many aspects of musical theatre, including singing, choreography, set design, and instrument exploration. All activities will work towards the end product: A musical theatre performance on the last day of camp!

About the program:

• Who: Kids in grades 2-7 who are excited about performing! All levels of experience welcome!
• What: An engaging Performing Arts Camp that allows participants to experience a variety of performing arts opportunities, which will include Musical Theatre, instrument exploration, movement activities and arts & crafts.
• When: March 15-19, 2021

• Daily Start time: 8:30 (Doors will open at 8:20 AM )
• Daily end time: 4:00 PM
• Where: Kamloops United Church , 421 St Paul St
• What's included: Apart from a whole lotta fun.... All instruments, supplies, l unch & snacks are included (if your child has any severe allergies, or dietary restrictions, please let us know). Food "order" forms will be sent out before the program begins so students can customize their choices and we can pre-package the food so there is no food sharing.
