New for 2020 - you can purchase Secure Your Spot Insurance when you sign up for the 13, 31, and 55 km ski events. If your ski event is cancelled for any reason, your registration will be transferred to the same event in 2021. You get a full carry-forward credit for one year! 2019 carry-forward skiers are not eligible. See details here .

55 and 31 km events: New for 2020 - your 31/55 km results will be posted on the Worldloppet website to give you a Global Ranking . Canadian Birkebeiner ski events are now listed on the Worldloppet Ski Marathon Calendar .

55 and 31 km events: Participants will be asked to choose a wave in which to start. Please read this to choose your wave.

55 and 31 km events: Children 2–11 years of age are not allowed. Children 12–17 years of age are not recommended. If they register, they must be registered with and accompanied by an adult guardian.

13 km event: Children 2–7 years of age are not allowed. Children 8–11 years of age must be registered with and accompanied by an adult guardian.

4/8 km event: Children 2–11 years of age are not allowed.

2/4 km Ole’s Tour: Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult also registered in the same event.

A processing fee for registration will be added at the payment stage and includes a $2 Zone4 Registration System fee and a 3% credit card fee. No GST will be charged.

There is a $10 fee for ski event changes (see instructions on our Registration page).
