Join us for our classic event with expertly-groomed, stunning trails. It features multiple events with distances for skiers of all ages and abilities.

The course runs on the Nipika Mountain Resort and Cross River Canyon Recreation Site trails, with exceptional forest, mountain, and river views. The venue is Nipika Mountain Resort which welcomes guests year round to their cozy log cabins and four-season trail system.

New this year skiathlon!

What is skiathlon? It’s a combination of a 15km loop in classic, followed by a 15km loop in skate. You can do it as individual or as a team of two (one to ski classic, one to ski skate).

Perfect for those who enjoy the extra challenge of two ski techniques in one race. Great for teams of two with each person skiing their favorite technique.

Bib and Timing Chip Pick Up:

Saturday, Janurary 23rd, 2027 from 8:30am – 10:30am at Nipika Mt Resort (in The Barn)

Start Times (may vary slightly from this depending on race routing):

Races start at 11:00am Wave start by Category

Start times will be posted at Bib Pick up and around the Barn for reference

* No refunds on event registrations but you can transfer your registration to another person by contacting us at events@nipika.com.

COLD WEATHER POLICY:

-Between -15°C and -25° C:

If the temperature level is forecast to be between - 15°and- 25° C recommendations regarding cold weather protection will be made available. Under such conditions it is the responsibility of the participants to seek the information and to follow the recommendations given by the organizer

Minus 25° C and below:

If the temperature in a major portion of the course is -25° C or below, the competition shall be delayed or cancelled.
