We offer Ski (skate & classic) and Snowshoe rentals for those wanting to get outside, get active and have fun during the winter months. The Wapiti Nordic trail system is 35km of trails that are groomed all winter lodge. We offer an experience for the new skier to the advanced skier. There is something for everyone! We prefer that you book your rentals the day before using the online booking tool (Zone4). However, if you missed our rental cut off period (24 hrs prior) you can contact us at the lodge when a Lodge Attendant is present (weekends 10-5pm) to inquire about equipment availability for drop in rentals.

XCountry Skiing is a technical sport. LESSONS are recommended

Please make sure you are on a trail suitable to your ski level. We recommend the 1Km, 2Km, 3Km and 4Km Forest Trail for beginners but there are still hilly sections in all/most of our trails. If you are unsure which trails to ski on ask the Lodge Attendant for help.

Note: Snowshoeing (Fat biking, Running, and Hiking) are only permitted on designated Multiuse Trails and NOT the ski trails. Please inquire with our Lodge Attendants if you are unsure. Multi use trails are designated by the yellow diamonds .

Day Passes & Annual Memberships:

An Annual Membership or Day pass is required to use the Wapiti Nordic Ski trails. Visit our website for more information on memberships. Annual memberships are good from date of purchase to Oct. 30, 2024 and also allows access during the summer months.

Rentals will be cancelled if the temperature one hour before your start time is colder than-20C per the Environment Canada Website.

Except for the above, all payments are non-transferable and non-refundable.

In the event that we cancel your rental due to inclement weather, a WNSC representative will be in contact with you to re-book your rental.

No Shows- If you do not show up for your rental pick up time, we cannot rebook your rental.
