NNSC Women Long Distance Skate Group 2027

Women Long Distance Skate Ski Group on Wednesday mornings from 9-11am. These guided training sessions are an empowering, social way to build endurance, refine your technique, and train together for the epic Sovereign to Silver Star Ski Marathon on April 4th, 2027. Your qualified instructor will be skiing with you every Wednesday for up to 2 hours.

Prerequisite: Female intermediate to advanced skate skier. Fitness level that allows you to skate ski continuously for 10-15 kilometres, familiarity with offset and one skate techniques.

Dates: January 6, 13, 20, 27 | February 3, 10, 17, 24 | March 3, 10, 17, 24

The dates provided above are the 12 consecutive Wednesdays leading directly up to the April 4, 2027 goal! We will help coordinate logistics, transportation, and carpooling for participation in the S2S event in April.

Class minimum is 4 people in order to run the sessions. Maximum is 8 people, so don’t delay in signing up as programs begin in January.

Cost: $150 (does not include trail fees)

Be Prepared: Important Information

• Meet outside the Apex Day Lodge for all sessions (unless otherwise stated).
• Be ready at the start time of the program with skis, poles and boots on.
• Be prepared for the weather (toque, gloves/mittens, jacket, sunglasses, sunscreen, drinking water, headlamp for evening sessions, etc.)

NO REFUNDS. Prior to first lesson, with doctor's note, a credit, less a 25% administrative fee, may be applied at discretion of the Club. After commencement of program, no refund or credit will be offered.
