Yellowknife Ski Club Intro to Snowshoe Biathlon Events
- When: Three separate events - November 16th, November 30th and December 7th from 1:00-3:00 pm.
- Where: Biathlon Range & Cabin
- -Who : anyone 10 and up, maximum of 7 registered.
- What : Snowshoe biathlon introduction session. Participants will learn the ins and out of snowshoe biathlon, including how to tie snowshoes, care for equipment as well as range safety. Participants will be introduced to proper range protocols and sequences with the use EcoAims optical rifles - theses do not use any ammunition. Participants must be ski club members and register with Biathlon Canada. This is to serve as an introduction to the sport, in a fun and inclusive way.
