Welcome to the 2025/26 Junior Ski Team

Note: Registration in the Junior Ski Team program does not include membership to the DRXC Club. You will also need to register your child (or family) using the Zone4 DRXC membership page.

The Junior Ski Team Program is aimed at skiers 9 to 15 years old. It has a dryland fall training season, after school skiing (once per week), Saturday afternoon and occasionally Sunday skis, and some low-key races and loppets locally and further afield. A summer program is optional and no additional charge (other than roller ski rental costs).

The Ski Rental Program will be available at the Deep River Curling and Squash Club (McElligott Road, behind the arena and legion). Details will follow. At the ski rental, obtain classic skis and skate length poles unless you already have some. The Junior Ski Team registration DOES include a pair of skate skis and boots for the season for those not yet in high school. We will be skiing at the same time as Jackrabbits, but as a separate team (occasionally we will help coach the Jackrabbits).

The season started mid September and will run to late March or as long as the snow allows us to ski! The spring/summer session will begin in May.
