All three days will consist of technical skiing, gate training, and free skiing.
The focus during the morning will be developing and maintaining platform, stance and balance within different drill courses, terrain environments, and full-length courses. Drill course environments and technical skiing will also help to kickstart athlete progression with more advanced concepts such as upper/lower body separation, lateral movement, coordination, and simple tactical skills.
After lunch, athletes should prepare to push themselves during our afternoon freeride block. Coaches will lead the group through fun and demanding skiing on the great off-piste terrain offered at Marmot.
Any SVR U8 / U10 / U12 athletes who are comfortable skiing all blue and most black runs. Athletes must be competent at riding chairlifts by themselves with confidence. Athletes should be able to keep up with their peers at the U8 / U10 / U12 level.

*Disclaimer: For all Nancy Greene Mountain camps/races, we provide a specific number of coaches based on the assumption that athletes are both confident and competent skiers. If your athlete does not meet the minimum technical requirements, is unable to keep up with the group, or if there is an issue with athlete behaviour and attitude, parents are required to be on standby to assist coaches on snow full-time in handling their athlete during morning and afternoon training sessions.
In extreme circumstances (and at the discretion of the Head Coach or Program Director), an athlete may no longer be permitted to participate further in the camp/race. In these instances, parents understand that their athlete is barred from further participation. Snow Valley Racing will provide a credit for the days the athlete will no longer be attending (not including the day they are removed from the camp/race).
