We are excited to kick off this years edition of Wednesday Night Race Series. Join us on Wednesday night as Red River Nordic Ski and Biathlon hosts one of the longest running race series in Canada. All 11 races are held at the Windsor Park Nordic Centre on the lit groomed trails.

This is a fun, participation based race series for skiers of all age and ability level.

The technique changes each week so be sure to check our schedule to make sure you bring the correct equipment. (Pretty hard to skate with klister)

Pre-Race Meeting

In order to minimize large gatherings, the race meeting will not occur onsite. An email will be sent to all registered participants for that race on Tuesday evening with a map of the course. Start lists will be posted at the entrance to Windsor Park Nordic Centre as well as on Zone 4 one hour prior to start.

Bib Pick Up

The race will begin at 7 p.m. it is the athletes responsibility to ensure to have picked up their assigned bib and chip in time for their start.

Race Fee

The cost for each race is $5 plus admin fee. Athletes who sign up for the complete series of 12 races will pay $35 and save the hassle of remembering to register weekly.

Reimbursement Policy

In the event a race is cancelled due to weather concerns, a message will be posted on the CCSAM website by 4 p.m. that day.

Athletes who have only signed up for that race will have their fees applied to the next race. Athletes who have signed up for the entire season will not be reimbursed as this will count as one of the 5 free races that they get as a result of the season discount (once online fees are included).

In the event you are not able to make it that night or you are not feeling well please email the organizer at skinnyskis@me.com so that your name can be removed from the start list and fees can be transferred to another race.
