- After consulting the race notice, if you have any registration questions or problems, please contact the race secretary at xcski.lsna.compsec@gmail.com before completing the registration. Please report any errors to the race secretary right away, and provide your cart # or receipt.
ATHLETE ELIGIBILITY
1. Nordiq Canada Selection Trials (U20/Open) - FIS Categories
All competitors in Trials Categories must:
- have a valid NC or a NC Associate license for the current season; and
- have a valid FIS license for the current season; and
- have points greater than zero on the most current CPL.
NOTE: All U18 athletes and older must have a FIS license to participate in Trials Categories both Canadian and Foreign .
- Athletes cannot purchase Day Licenses for any event at the 2025 Trials.
2. OCUP#2 (U14/U16/U18/Open/Masters Categories) - Non-FIS Categories
- All competitors from U14 and up must have a valid Nordiq Canada race license or hold a Nordiq Canada supporting member day license for each race event. Day licenses can be purchased during online registration for a fee of $6 per race.
- Foreign skiers must have a Nordiq Canada Associate license to participate in OCUP Categories.
- The only exception to this Athlete Eligibility is for the OCUP U18 Category for the Interval Start Free Technique Race. Athletes registered in the OCUP U18 Category for this race do not require a FIS license.
REGISTRATION
$50.00 + taxes/race for all races
All registration fees are subject to HST and zone4 processing fees.
MANDATORY FEES for Ontario athletes: All Ontario Division registered racers are required to pay the additional Ontario License Athlete Fee.
- U16, U18 and Open (non FIS) $7.00 + taxes/race
- U14 category $3.50 + taxes/race
Nordiq Canada Tier 2 Day License Fee (for athletes without a Nordiq Canada race license, OCUP categories only) $6.00 + taxes/ race
Regular registration closes on Friday, December 27, at midnight. Late registration is available until noon on Tuesday, January 1, and is subject to a late registration penalty of $100 per registrant. Registrations received after the late registration deadline will only be considered for athletes already registered in one or more races, and are subject to Jury approval and the late registration penalty.
REFUNDS
All registration fees are payable at the time of online registration. Refunds will not be issued, unless the request to withdraw is received in writing to the Race Office prior to the close of regular registration on December 27. Refund requests will be processed as follows:
- Trials Categories: 50% of registration fees and Ontario athlete fees (if applicable) will be refunded.
- OCUP Categories: 100% of registration fees and Ontario athlete fees (if applicable) will be refunded (less $15 administration fee)
- 50% of the entry fee including Ontario athlete fees, received from the end of registration until the deadline for providing corrections to the confirmation list (see race notice).
- No refunds for overpaid Tier 2 day licence and Ontario athlete fees.
- No refund for a race day cancelled for cold or adverse weather conditions.
- No refund of Zone 4 and online banking transaction fees.
- No refund of Nordiq Canada Tier 2 Day License Fees.
