YUKON SKI MARATHON 2024 Revised Race Plan - SUMMARY

NOTE: race plan was revised March 1 due to extreme cold weather conditions; revised plan does not exactly match original Race Notice, Course Maps, and Race Schedule & Rules posted on this page. 

DISTANCES & COURSES (see Revised Course Maps)

There was no start from Fish Lake. All skiers started at the McLean Lake Gravel Pits (Copper Haul Rd).

Skiers registered for 45km skied 32km on a revised course.

Skiers registered for 27km skied 25km on a revised course.  

Young skiers registered in the original Junior 27km race were moved to the 12km course. 

Skiers registered for 12km skied the same course as the original plan.

RACE SCHEDULE was also revised. A mandatory gear check was implemented. Everyone who wanted to race got a seat on the buses to the start location!

Revised Start Times - 11:30am start for 32km & 25km; 12:30pm start for 12km.
