Bunny Rabbits

$145 per season, Saturdays 10am- 12 beginning November 22nd-March 7th

The first level of our programming is for children up to 5 years old (caregiver presence is required for children 4 years or younger). Developed in parallel with the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP), Bunny Rabbit program materials include an enrollment kit, kid-friendly booklet, and fun skill award stickers. The objective is to introduce cross-country skiing and the healthy lifestyle associated with it through organized activity and active play. Participants will develop a positive self-image, movement skills, an appreciation for the outdoors, and new ski friendships. For more information contact kenorabigbunny@gmail.com



Jack Rabbits

$145 per season, Saturdays beginning November 22nd-March 7th

The second level of our programming is the “FUNdamentals” stage of development. It has been developed in parallel with the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). Program materials include an enrollment kit, a special toque, and an illustrated booklet that tracks levels of achievement. The objective is for children to learn basic cross-country ski skills, including classic and skating styles, and to instill a lifelong interest in the sport. Participants will develop the basics of agility, balance, coordination, and speed, as well as good ski technique habits, fun, and fitness. This is a 14-session (28 instructional hour) program. Youth-Adult Skill Development Series (Ages 10+)

Fee: $150 per ssession +$15 for vest/$465 for season

Session 1: Let’s Roll

Dates: Sept 3 – Oct 23, 2025

Days/Times: Wed 5:30–6:30 pm & Sat 1:00–2:30 pm

Duration: 15 lessons / 20 hours

Venue: Various community locations

Description: “Let’s Roll” is an 8 -weekfall fitness and skill-based training session

Designed to improve skate ski skills and overall fitness, this program welcomes all levels—no prior experience needed. Activities include pole walking, bounding, video review, roller skiing, and optional cross-training like biking. Participants are encouraged to build base fitness (cardio, strength, balance) beforehand. Sessions will rotate between local venues based on weather and lesson focus.




Session 2: Snow Matter What

Dates: Nov 12 – Dec 20, 2025

Days/Times: Wed 5:30–6:30 pm & Sat 1:00–2:30 pm

Duration: 12 lessons / 15 hours

Venue: KNBC Trails & Mt Evergreen

Description: This early-season program helps skiers transition from dryland and roller ski training to on-snow skate skiing—making the most of whatever conditions nature provides. While participation in the earlier Let’s Roll session is not required, this session builds on skills introduced there, aiming to get participants on skis as early as possible.




Session 3: Let’s Glide!

Dates: Jan 7 – Feb 19, 2026

Days/Times: Wed 5:30–6:30 pm & Sat 10:00–12:00 pm

Duration: 13 lessons / 19 hours

Venue: KNBC Trails & Mt Evergreen

Description: This on-snow session focuses on developing both classic and skate ski techniques to improve glide and efficiency. Lessons will adapt to weather and participant goals, covering key skills like V1, V2, free skate, diagonal stride, hill technique, and double poling. Race instruction is available upon request. Sessions are held outdoors, with indoor alternatives (video review, waxing, nutrition) in poor weather. Special guest instructors will enhance the experience. Adult Nordic Ski Program

The Adult program is peer-led group of skiers who love to be outside no matter the weather. If you love skiing and want some incentive in the company of other ski lovers, come on out.

We coordinate skate ski and classic ski sessions twice a week with the goal of having fun, being active outside, learning from each other and increasing our fitness. Group activities include full moon potluck skis, ski bingo challenge and other fun activities to keep things interesting when the temperatures drops. For all levels and goal seekers, come make some friends in a supportive environment of ski enthusiast.

Snow sessions only– November 29 (contingent on snow) until snow goes!

Biathlon

No experience necessary

Three six -weeksessions offered on Thursdays

$120/session using club equipment, $50/session using own equipment

Youth Age 10+ , 5:00-6:15 pm

All participants are strongly encouraged to also participate in a KNBC ski program, as our session focuses mainly on the shooting component of the sport.

Youth Biathlon Ages 10+

The biathlon program teaches the basic skills of biathlon in a safe and fun environment. The overall aim is to build confidence with skiing and shooting skills and provide a fun introduction to fitness for life. No skiing experience is necessary to join. This program is designed to develop the enjoyment of biathlon focusing on team building and having fun, while improving skiing and shooting skills. Time and location: Thursdays October 23rd--March 12th 5:00-6:15 PM, the program takes place at Lake of the Woods gun Club and is divided into 3 sessions of 6 weeks each. $120/ session,which includes use of rifle and ammunition. $50/session if athletes owns their own equipment.




Adult Biathlon Program


Europe loves biathlon! And you will too. come and learn all about this winter sport that combines cross-country skiing and rifle shooting. For all levels. Previous nordic ski experience is not needed, although it is recommended. Consider joining our small but mighty community for a fun winter season.

Thursdays October 23rd--March 12th 6:30-8pm divided into 3 sessions of 6 weeks each. $120/ session which includes use of rifle and ammunition. $50/session if athletes owns their own equipment.
