The 2026 Troll Loppet will take place on February 8th!

Choose from a selection of six different distances to challenge yourself, discover new trails and enjoy this tradition with other skiers!

Race Start Time: 10:00 am

Early Registration: Before February 8th (Online Only - closes February 7th at 6pm)

• Adult: $20
• Youth (7-18): $15
• Child (6 & under): $10

Event Day Registration : February 8th, 8:30am - 9:30am (Mud Lake/Viking Centre)

Choose your distance from the 2 km Super Tiny Troll to the 40 km Gold route!

The Paulson Nordic Ski Trails are located about 40 km west of Castlegar on Highway 3, just west of the junction of Highways 3 and 3B at Nancy Greene Lake.

The Troll Loppet will take place along the 65 kms of ski trails, which are tracked and maintained by the Castlegar Nordic Ski Club. The trails range from from beginner to advanced , however, most of the event routes will take place on beginner and intermediate terrain.
