Single Winter Club Fee

Space Dogs will have the same registration fee for all 3 training groups: RecFUN, RecFAST, and Performance.

Skiers can move between groups during the season as their fitness, skills, goals, or schedule change without additional registration fees. Coaches will help each skier find the group that offers the best training experience.

Winter schedule will feature 9 weekly coached sessions , as follows:

• Mondays 6:30PM (Perf & RecFAST)
• Wednesdays 6:30-8PM (RecFUN & RecFAST)
• Thursdays 10-11:30AM (everyone, one group, CNC)
• Thursdays 6:30-8PM (Perf)
• Saturdays 9:30AM or 10AM-12PM (everyone, 3 groups)

About These Ski Programs

Season registration includes all weekly coached club sessions. Skiers may attend as often as they wish, but we recommend registering only if you can normally attend two sessions per week from mid-November through the end of March. We understand that illness, work, and family commitments happen. When your schedule allows, you are welcome to attend additional sessions to make up for missed training.

Snow and Trail Conditions

We do not wait for perfect snow conditions. If the trails are safe, we will ski, even when conditions are icy or the snow is thinner than usual. Weeknight sessions are held at Confederation Golf Course because it consistently offers some of Calgary’s best-prepared and safest trails. Please check with your coach before assuming a session is cancelled. When there is snow and the trails are safe, we ski!

Cold Weather or Extended Warm Spells

If the forecast is –18°C or colder, including wind chill , at the scheduled session time, or skiing is not possible, we will try to arrange an indoor alternative, such as speed skating at the Oval or indoor cycling at Grupetto. We will review the Calgary hourly forecast and make the final call the evening before each morning session, or on the morning of weeknight sessions.
