Financial Assistance Information

Ski For Light Canada is offering financial assistance to a limited number of Canadian residents for up to 50% of the registration fee. You are still responsible for membership dues, equipment rentals, transportation and all other costs. If the cost of registration is a barrier to your participation, either as a skier or guide, please use the link below to make an application. If you are approved for financial assistance you will receive an email with a code which you can then enter in the discount code box in the checkout section. Cancellation Policy

The Ski for Light Canada 2027 event is being held in Canmore, Ab. The accommodation this year is in a hotel and we will also be using buses to go from the hotel to the skiing venue. Given that these are contracted services with their own cancellation policies, we will not be able to offer refunds for cancellations made after 23:59 MT on November 30th, 2026. Cancellation requests should be sent to info@skiforlight.ca.

The Ski for Light Canada Event Organizing committee recommends that you purchase trip cancellation/trip interruption insurance. Please contact us at info@skiforlight.ca if you need recommendations on trip cancellation insurance companies.
