Welcome to the 2026/27 season!
New this season: Nordic Adventure Program
Important Reminders
New for 2026/27 - Nordic Adventure Program
Love skiing, being outside, and exploring with friends? This program is for you!
Our new Nordic Adventure Program is designed for youth aged 13+ who enjoy exploring the outdoors, building fitness, and developing their ski skills in a fun, social environment.
Participants are encouraged to take part in regional loppets throughout the winter. These low-pressure events offer a range of distances, allowing each skier to choose a challenge that matches their goals and interests.
This program is ideal for skiers who want to improve their skills, enjoy group adventures, and stay active without following a structured competitive training program.

Who Is It For?
Adventure participants should:
- Be 13+ and comfortable with both classic and skate skiing at approximately Jackrabbit Level 4 or equivalent
- Be able to comfortably ski, run, or hike for 1.5–2 hours
- Be ready to explore varied terrain and get outside in all kinds of winter weather
- Most importantly, enjoy being active, having adventures, and doing it with a group!
Equipment
Fall: Trail running shoes and a water bottle, waist belt, or hydration pack.
Winter: Classic and skate ski equipment (combi boots are fine), headlamp, weather-appropriate clothing, hydration system, and a small backpack for longer adventures.
Where Will We Go?
Not every adventure has to happen at Otway! Sessions may take us to different locations around Prince George, with opportunities for regional trips and loppets in communities such as Quesnel, Williams Lake, and Burns Lake. Some trips may include an overnight stay.
Families are responsible for transportation to and from activities.
New trails. New challenges. Great people. Let the adventure begin!
